Checkpoint Tracker is a national competitive adventure racing series the culminates with the Checkpoint Tracker National Championship. It is owned by
Checkpoint Zero, LLC and operated in partnership with the leading adventure racing promoters in the United States. Checkpoint Tracker is NOT a governing body nor is it a non-profit
association. At present the sport of adventure racing is not governed by any official organization.
What does it cost for a Racer or Team to participate?
Nothing. Racer and Team profiles are 100% free.

Yes. Only Teams that have set up a profile at CheckpointTracker.com will be ranked.
Does everyone on my Team have to Sign Up?
Yes. In order to receive points for a given Event you MUST complete your Squad profile by filling each slot with a Racer from your Team Roster.
Do I have to add an Event to my Team Schedule to earn points?
Yes and your Team must be "Confirmed" by the Event Promoter. When you add an Event to your Team Schedule a Squad is created
and it's Registration Status is set to "Pending". Once you've actually registered for the Event (through Checkpoint Tracker or via an off-site process) the Promoter
will change your Registration Status to "Confirmed". Teams that have not added a given Event to their Schedule or whose registration has not been confirmed by the
Promoter will not be awarded points for that Event.

How do I build my Team's Schedule?
Add Events to your Team Schedule by clicking the "Add to Schedule" link on any Event detail page. You will be prompted to
select the Team you are "registering", give a name to the Squad your Team is sending and select which Division you will compete in. You can view or edit the Squad
by clicking on the name of the Squad adjacent to the Event on your Team profile page or from the list of Teams on the Event detail page.
How can my Team qualify for the National Championship?
The top ranked teams in each Division will be invited to compete at Nationals in accordance with the Offical Rules.
When will entries to Nationals be awarded?
We will begin to offer invitations to top Teams starting in August, through the end of the last Event in the series. All Teams who qualify based on
points after the last series event are guaranteed an invitation. When your Team receives an invitation you will have 14 days to register and pay for Nationals. If you decline, your
team will only be eligible for a roll down slot, should you change your mind.
Can Racers from more than one Team race together and earn points for each Team?
No. Points are allocated to Teams not Racers. While Racers are free to join and compete with multiple Teams, points cannot be split between Teams.
