Come join us in our backyard playground! Are you looking to go just a bit further, go just a bit longer, and go just a bit tougher? Then this Odyssey race is for you! The classic Odyssey Race will take place in the beautiful Blue Ridge mountains of Virginia. The 22nd Edition of the Odyssey One Day Adventure Race will be a fun and challenging, but doable, 24 hour adventure race for both novice and advanced adventure racing teams. Whether looking at moving up from a sprint or 12 hr adventure race, or jumping in for the first time this will be a rewarding adventure for all. The event will have various cutoff times to allow for the best shot at an official finish. The Odyssey One Day will challenge athletes physically and mentally as teams of 2,3, and 4 along with soloists will push their limits as they mountain bike, hike and paddle through the beautiful forests of the Blue Ridge Mountains of VA. The Odyssey One Day is part of the Checkpoint Tracker National Point Series, with points being awarded to all divisions. Odyssey Adventure Racing will be donating a percentage of the proceeds from the events and matching all donation made by racers during the registration process to the IMONPoint.org. We are proud to contribute in the effort of helping service members regain control of their lives through education, rehabilitation, services, and equipment.
