Description

3rd year event. Described by the 40% who finished in 2011 as "the most spectacular course and the best design ever." This epic 26.2 hour race is located in a vast, wilderness course area near Lake James, Table Rock Mountain, Wilsons Creek, north and west of Morganton. Activities include canoeing, mountain biking, trail running, rappelling, orienteering and special challenges. Benefit for the American Diabetes Association and the US National Whitewater Center.
