5th Annual Goldrush 24/12/6 hr Adventure Race, July 24-25, 2010
Run = 26 mi ... 8hr
canoe = 21 mi ... 5hr
bike = 50 mi ... 11hr
total traveled = 97miles... 24hr
An adventure race for everyone…
The YMCA Goldrush AR has brought four great 24 hour races, but now it is time to open up the doors with an additional 12 and 6 hour option.
This event is all encompassing and has a route for all racing abilities.
With 50% brand new racing terrain this course will challenge teams that have made the Goldrush an annual event. For teams that this is their first Goldrush, well you are in for a treat….Hope to see you on race day.
A few highlights on this year’s event:
1. Mountain biking, trekking, canoeing, swimming and navigation throughout
2. 6/12/24 hour course choices (6 hr course will either choose to bike/trek or canoe/trek)
3. No support crew needed
4. 2, 3 & 4 person teams
5. All racers will receive a Goldrush AR pint glass
The race will be held in Canton, GA.
Registration ends on July 18, with an increased price/person extension until July 22.
