Checkpoint Zero, LLC today announced the 2008 Checkpoint Tracker Adventure Racing Series presented by Inov-8. This innovative adventure racing series features 18 one-day and 3 multi-day events produced by the sport's most accomplished and experienced race promoters. The Series features online coverage of all events at CheckpointTracker.com and a combined prize purse worth more than $30,000 in cash and gear.

"I'm thrilled to have Too Cool Racing, Kayak Lake Mead, GOALS Adventure Racing, Wicked AR, and High Profile Adventure Racing coming on board in 2008. We're adding 11 events next year, 8 of them by these new promoters. The other new races are coming from the foundational promoters that were involved this year," commented Paul "Yak" Angell, President of Checkpoint Zero, LLC. "Our new lineup means less traveling to compete in Series events and earn points. In addition to a combined $10,000 cash purse to be awarded to the top three teams at the end of the year, the top three teams at each Series event will be awarded gear prizes including packs and shoes from Inov-8, sunglasses from Numa Tactical, and hydration tablets from nuun. "If your team does well at any Series event, no matter your overall points total, you're going to get prizes."
